Sometimes, those sweet lines that are intended to stir your heart can surprisingly sting. It's a strange thing, how feelings can be both healed and hurt by the very same source. Perhaps it's because reality often arrives wrapped in a veil of poetry. Or maybe it's just that openness makes us susceptible to suffering, no matter how loving the sender
